Traffic wardens in Retford are affecting the town and it's trade

Horrible not looking after the town and encouraging people to the shops

gone are the days when you could have a relaxing stroll round our beautiful town.it is bighted by numerous traffic wardens ,that are hell bent on giving out tickets.retford is not a large city with huge parking problems.ask any motorist that's had a ticket the majority of them will have been given a ticket for being minutes over their allotted time.shoppers cant determine how long they are going to be in a queue.supporting local businesses.How can it be right that you can be issued a parking ticket in the middle of summer at 7.00pm in the market square area.Ill tell you the wardens are like a pack of lions,out for the kill .Give the the people of Retford a chance,and also shopkeepers a chance to keep Retford alive

There's barely anywhere in Retford that you can park for free anymore . Gone are the days when you could have a leisurely mooch round the town, for fear of outstaying the time limit on your ticket.

My mum once got to the car 1 minute after her ticket ran out because I was on crutches and could not keep up... This was ridiculous and I now refuse to park in council car parks

They are useless

Very rude women gave u a ticket 3 min over n stood there while we got Bk n was trying for an argument wouldn't give her the satisfaction

These petty ticket slapping megalomaniacs are seriously detrimental to our town. And so is the authoritiy that pays their wages. Put this nonsense to bed so we can have a busy, bustling town centre & not a no go zone!!!!

The current aggressive ticking of vehicles in the town is having a negative effect on the local economy, through decreasing the number of visitors to the town. Those who do shop in fear preventing browsing in the shop.

More FREE parking area please, stop penalising motorists who want to park responsibly and spend money or use LOCAL services!

Can't believe how many un necessary tickets are given out. Puts you off shopping in town, not everyone can walk from car parks at supermarkets! Keep the town buzzing not empty!

Traffic wardens in Retford are a joke. Got issued a ticket at 9-10am on a Monday morning. Was only 5min went to get a wedding card from clintons parking road markings had warn away. But no they were so full of themselves and I said people like you are why Retford town shops are losing business.

My husband was dropping our daughter off at dance class in town. Left his sister in the car with engine running and he got a ticket because she said she couldn't drive it as she only had a provisional and that he was going to be 2 mins. Due to parking issue and getting a fine we moved her dance schools

This needs addressing

The parking times should either be increased to 1 hour and they are ruining the town I park outside of the high street to walk in as being scared of getting a ticket and being skint at the same town they make people's life he'll

Look around at other towns and compare their parking fees. The traders in Retford are losing custom to these places.

The town centre is struggling so people should be welcome to visit and not worry about parking fines.

Ruining a lovely market town, need to encourage people into Retford not drive them away

we need the trade & customers in town, not to be pushed away to Gainsborough
