as a driver I know this road can be quite hazardous and there are many youngsters crossing to reach the park something has to be done to make it safer for them

Definitely need something down that road! I live down a side road, and the only things to cross the road safely is a set if traffic lights down langly shop end and another set all the way down the other end at stones cross. Need another set of lights, the accident only happened up the road from me I think. So sad

Beyond tragic what has happened regardless of who's ro blame.
needs to be a 30 mph limit aswell as there is three very busy juntions (larkspur drive, Helvellyn drive, penine way)
