friday street needs to be reduced to 30mph asap.

There are always questions on peoples minds when something like this happens, Where was this person or that person at the time. There is nobody to blame here but there is a opportunity to put things right and put traffic lights or a zebra crossing to prevent it happening again, My heart goes out to this family who i cannot even begin to imagine the hurt they are feeling right now x

This Junction has been an on going concern with the residents for years we all know what very young children are like our prayers go out to Andrea and hope they are answered for a complete recovery our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family

My prayers are with the family. It was an accident that should never have happened, let's get the speed reduced to ensure no more precious lives are wasted.

Anything to saves lives is worth every penny. My heart goes out to this family at a very sad time. DGH needs to bring back peds unit to, or at least PAU, Would save on over stretched conquest peds ward, and free up ambulances, they are stretched as it is. Young parents don't all drive, so £50+ return cab fares or 2hr bus journey with sick children. Accident on Friday street has left the town heart broken and numb. So anything to stop this happening again is well worth it. Because critical 60min rule, either to conquest or by air ambulance, time they got this little angel stable enough to travel or help to get there, both would be out of goverment critical hour thing. Enough is taken in car taxs, why has it taken this for a crossing or lights to be on agenda.

So sad such a young life taken too soon, these tragic events can be prevented by sensible action being taken. An old speed limit which is now (due to the increase in schools and houses in Stone Cross/Langney) out of touch and dangerous. Only one set of lights between Langney shopping centre roundabout and the Red Lion pub... disgrace! If you want a quick swift journey then use golden jubilee! Friday Street/Lion hill is now heavily residential, with many school children walking and crossing! 40mph is ludicrous. particularly on the blind bend coming downhill under the bridge past the recreational park!
