Yes, My son rides along Rainbow St to school in Shorncliffe. Would like to see separated bike lanes for schoolkids

Good on you Jacob. If we make it easy for people to walk and bike they will walk and bike. If it is hard they will take the car and cause more congestion.

Non-vehicle travelers should feel safe.

It’s time to start prioritising the safety of people over the convenience of motor vehicles.

I totally agree Jacob! It's rubbish that it's so difficult to cross the road so you can ride your bike to school, and that your dad has a hard time getting around. Council shouldn't treat people who are driving cars like they're more important than everyone else.

Have stopped and helped at accidents at this intersection many times over the years. Lights would be such a great help.

I have seen so many near misses at this junction and, even as an adult find it daunting to cross here. Completely agree that lights or a pedestrian crossing are essential to avoid someone losing their life - it's just a matter of time if nothing is done.

I agree. This is a very dangerous intersection & has an increasingly high volume of traffic including pedestrians, many of whom are school kids.

Wakefield and Brighton Tce can be dangerous even in a car with the volume of traffic along Brighton Terrace at peak times.
