The stories coming in about near-misses at the intersection of Windermere Pkwy and Hastings Drive are alarming. Please email your local council members today to demand they address these safety hazards before a serious accident occurs.

The momentum behind this intersection safety project is growing fast and proving that our neighborhood is united on this issue. Post this link on your local neighborhood Facebook group today and text three friends who use these roads to keep the pressure on the City Council.

Much needed! Turning left onto Windermere or crossing it is risky with little visibility to cars speeding down from old atlanta/mathis airport end
Please insert traffic light at this intersection. In the past we have seen accidents here. It may be because of increased speed of vehicles on the slope.
WAY TOO FAST. People treat it like a race track and it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt bad.
Yes there should be a traffic light here. It is becoming too risky to cross the road.
It’s a great idea to install the traffic lights at that junction , it will reduce some speeders from going overboard and make driving safe for people in James creek

This intersection is a nightmare during morning drop off. I almost got hit twice last week trying to turn left onto windermere. We need lights ASAP.
