I drive through this spot at least 3 x a week with white knuckle. If I ever find myself having to cross this area I always go up towards Cartersville and do a turn around rather then attempt the 4 lane crossing. There is plenty of time to see a stop light from either direction here it’s ridiculous that it was put in when they made the new road overhead.
My daughter travels this road daily and the amount of traffic is so dangerous for people to pull out into oncoming traffic. So yes definitely put a red light up asap!!!
It's the worst intersection on 41 makes no sense to go across a 4 lane rd to turn left, while the money for ingeneering this should have already been spent on safety, put a light up.
A light is needed badly. I work at the auction located at that intersection and have seen NUMEROUS wrecks. Today’s accident is the 2nd within a couple years where I’m not sure the drivers made it. A light will save lives.
This is such a dangerous intersection. A flat bed semi pulled out in front of me less than an hour ago right here making me come to a complete stop on 41 since he couldn’t get turned into the south bound lane after pulling out. I go miles out of the way just to avoid this intersection if coming from 75 or the connector from Old Alabama. There should have been a light decades ago!
Please put in a traffic light before someone dies.

With the new road crossing the train tracks to bring more traffic from Lake Point, we need the red light. It is already too busy and hard to get on 41 as it is now.
