Are you tired of driving into Culver City or Hollywood to find a TJ’s to shop at? If there were a Trader Joe's closer to your home in Mid-City, would you be likely to shop there more often? If you answered 'yes' to any of the questions above - then sign this petition to encourage Trader Joe's to build a store right in Mid-City, Los Angeles. We have the perfect spot too - the Washington Square Market Shopping Center. This shopping center is in desperate need of a makeover and better shops. Our neighborhood is changing and the stores should reflect the diversity and needs of the neighbors! Historically, the Trader Joe's organization has always opposed putting a store "south of Pico" in the city of Los Angeles - but a new plan has been floated recently, with the idea of bringing a Trader Joe's to the Crenshaw district (near Rodeo). That’s fine – but what’s wrong with Mid-City? The only way they will know that we want it is to let our voices be heard! So please sign this petition, and make sure that they know what the collective needs of this community are… Bring Trader Joe’s to Washington Square.

The momentum surrounding our proposal for the Washington Square location has become undeniable. This level of interest confirms that our neighborhood deserves better access to the services that reflect our collective needs.

Yes, Mid-City needs a Trader Joes, especially after being ignored by them for years. What about bringing this much needed idea to the neighborhood councils too... mincla.org or unnc.org?
washington square needs a lot of work it is so run down and dirty. Mid town would be perfect just adjustments to the inside of the store

Would love this! Have been a loyal TJs customer for 10 years. Sadly I've cut down on TJs visits due to traffic. A neighborhood grocery store would be great, and clean up the blight that is Washington Square.
