We have the perfect spot too - the Washington Square Market Shopping Center. This shopping center is in desperate need of a makeover and better shops. Our neighborhood is changing and the stores should reflect the diversity and needs of the neighbors! Historically, the Trader Joe's organization has always opposed putting a store "south of Pico" in the city of Los Angeles - but a new plan has been floated recently, with the idea of bringing a Trader Joe's to the Crenshaw district (near Rodeo). That’s fine – but what’s wrong with Mid-City? The only way they will know that we want it is to let our voices be heard!
