The development needs to meet the actual needs of people in Takoma Park. That includes walkers, bikers and playing kids.

Please preserve the quality of life in our neighborhood with smaller reasonable development. We have lived at 134 grant Ave for 36 years. The co-op is essential!

Redevelopment should preserve and promote Takoma Park's special vibe. The Co-op is part of that and should be protected, along with other neighborhood businesses. I come there to shop precisely because it's not Bethesda or downtown Silver Spring.

Support the Community Vision option, much more suitable and appropriate scale to the neighborhood

too big, too tall, doesn't fit the Junction. Development needs to scale down.

Vote no on current plan, and support one where the Co-op is viable.

This plan is overblown and unfaithful to the unique character of our community. We don't want to give up the coop, yet developers don't get its importance to us. We don't want less green, we want more. Gives us a new plan please.

We strongly support not adopting the proposed site plan and keeping and growing the Co-op.

I live in TP, 7404 Maple Avenue. What swayed me to support this plan is that my local barber, Roland's, a neighborhood institution, would be badly affected by the proposed plan.

I am in full support of NOT having the CURRENT redevelopment plan for Takoma Junction passed by City Council. Please vote NO! Thank you.

Building the current project will create a traffic nightmare mare for the surrounding neighborhood, create a negatve commercial vibe and most likely drive the coop out of business

I am Takoma Park Resident on Elm Avenue. I strongly oppose the new development because it will make Junction traffic even more dangerous. Students and bicyclists already have a difficult time crossing the intersection safely, while cars have very long wait times. Furthermore, the parking and delivery truck needs of the Co-op have not been recognized in the new plans, even though the Co-op is the anchor business at the Junction and is a favorite of Takoma Park residents. I ask our Mayor and Council Members to fully represent the residents' needs and interests, and vote "No, thank you" on this approach. Much better plans can be made!

I am a longtime TP resident. I love a lot of the changes that have brought more vibrancy to our neighborhood but this plan needs to be scaled down and not threaten our Co-op, present merchants or destroy the gentle nature of the Junction.

Lived on Lee, near Carroll for 3 years. The plan has not been vetted by enough people. I also suggest that City Council vote no on this plan.

Simply put: This "plan" is poorly concocted. Bad idea.
