I like the alternate plan-Community Vision for Takoma Junction. Slow down development until more conversations can occur.

Presenting the option as either tihs clearly oversized development or no development at all is incredibly deceptive. I'm so disappointed with our mayor and city council.

The Community Vision plan is an important option for our city and is worthy of serious consideration.

I think the alternative for the Junction presented by the Community Vision is much MUCH better, in every way. Maybe it won't enrich some developer as much as the high-density option, but that should not be the goal. This is Takoma Park! The goal should be sustainability, community access, neighborhood compatibility, and appropriateness of scale. I have lived on both Ethan Allen and on Carroll, and this area is near and dear to me. Please do the right thing. PLUS take a look at Eric Saul's alternative for fixing the current double-bind intersection by aligning Carroll and Sycamore.

I couldn't agree more with all the points made by Community Vision for Takoma Junction. I have been absolutely dismayed at the lack of spine of the Council and Mayor to stick to the principles that our Community agreed upon when setting out on this development path. Please don't let our uniquely human scale and neighborly Takoma Park go the way of Silver Spring, Bethesda, Rockville, etc. This is NOT what most of the citizens want. Please listen!!

This plan would make an already difficult traffic situation even worse. The City Council should scrap it.

The alternative plan is so much better for the junction. The Co-op will not survive with the NDC plan.

NO to this plan for the many reasons noted--scale, traffic, bait-and-switch tactics by NDC. . .the community vision plan is the right plan.

We need another plan. This one does not benefit the coop or us, only the developer!

Save our culture and heritage. Smaller the better. Less traffic, the better.

The co-op makes our town unique. Save the co-op! Also, a building 40 feet high takes away from the asthetic of the neighborhood.
