Where are the traffic studies? I live at the corner of Poplar and Columbia. Getting out of our neighborhood now is a nightmare. I’m worried about what happens when you add 75 parking spaces. Unwanted development!!!

The construction period is likely to cripple, possibly kill the Co-op. And the proposed 72-car underground parking garage will bring more cars and congestion--the opposite of the pedestrian- and bike-friendly meeting place promised by the proponents of the current plan.

The co-op is a big part of the reasons I love to live in Takoma, and was a major factor in deciding to buy my house. I support our Co-op, want to see a development where public use is considered and where viable traffic solutions are put into place

Please make sure there is free parking for Coop customers. Thanks.

Please do not supersize this development! The people of Takoma Park are not interested in our little town becoming the next Chevy Chase or Bethesda. Keep our city green and safe for pedestrians and cyclists. Also, many of us regular patrons of the local, community owned food co-op and we care about its future. Please work with them, not against them.

When this process began in earnest. The City's Mayor, Bruce Williams and the Council, at the time, were united in their resolution to maintain very specific conditions of and by the developer. "Takoma Junction Site Criteria for Developers" can be found in the City Records of February 9th 2015. The current NDC's illustrative plans do not adhere to first 16 of the Criteria that the Council members and the Mayor past and present supported by a significant majority. The FIRST FIVE were supported unanimously. Those included: 1;Aesthetic Compatibility-height-setback. 2: Co-op Expansion. 3:Co-op business continuity-access during construction. 4:Expanded Retail 5: Maintaining Bike Share In October of 2017 the Council and Mayor Passed a Resolution with 11 Points Resolved including a Building no larger than 34,000 square feet. These too can be found in the City Records October 2017. As a democracy we need to hold the current council and especially the Mayor (as she was on that council in 2015 and was the Mayor in October of 2017) to honor and respect those Resolutions voted on and approved by the majority, for it is the majority of those who vote and for the protection of those who do not or can not to be governed fairly under the rules of this City's Government Charter. You too, any of you who reads this Petition can "vote" by signing it. Doing so will help us to make better choices and decisions with respect to the Takoma Junction, and the Anchor at Junction, the Takoma Park-Silver Spring CO-OP!

The coop serves a great purpose in our community. I, personally would like to see it stay.

The developer has only given lip service to requests.

the idea that the proposed lay-by will work is ridiculous in so many ways.

I am pro development. I am anti this plan. Because I have a 3 year old, and it will jeopardize public safety on our block, and I support the co op. Thank.

Please vote NO; the current plan will exacerbate our already difficult traffic issues and jeopardizes the viability of the Coop.

The TPSS Co-op's needs must be addressed in order to protect it's important role in the community. I firmly believe the proposed layby design, density of buildings and dearth of communal green space will be a net-negative for the community.

Please Council members do not vote for the existing plan. Find a solution that unites the city. We can do it. We all want to see development on the site. Council members require mediation between NDC and the Coop to find a solution. We know it can be done.

Vote no to the existing plan or vote to delay the final decision. The Council can find a solution that works.

Please let the community work this out in a mediated environment. Can't you see the process is flawed when the community is so divided. This is not what individual council members want but what is in the best interest of the community.

The co-op is a neighborhood gem. We must preserve it and design surroundings that will enhance its viability and success.

As a Takoma Park resident, home owner and voter, I am opposed to this plan.

the current plan will destroy my neighborhood--make it look like bethesda/rockville.
