Toyota Paint Problems

2017 Toyota 4Runner in Barcelona Red and the entire car needs to repainted because of this and it looks worse that the photo on this page

I have a 2014 Rav Was not aware of the issue until I saw something peeling and flying off the top of my roof I immediately went to my dealership and they told me about the extended warranty which I had no idea They told me to get a quote I did They sent it in and Toyota will not fix it because I’m 7 months out. What about if you’d paint started peeling after the warranty? The mistake is theirs they should fix it regardless. They cannot put a time limit on this Every vehicle is different. And no customer satisfaction in this case.

My 2011 Tacoma that has the barcelona's red paint has the clear coat separating from the paint, but my 2006 blue highlanders paint job is still perfect I am thinking about selling both of my Toyotas and purchasing a different make due to this paint issue and the lack of co cern that Toyota is providing

It’s ridiculous we pay as much as we pay for Toyota vehicles. Toyota does a phenomenal job mechanically but paint wise they’re lacking and we shouldn’t have to spend thousands of dollars to fix paint issues.

My real red 2013 toyota yaris started losing the clear coat in 2019! Big spots all over car and list paint now on a big area with rust. They ALL need to be recalled. I think they are waiting as long as possible so they won't include our older cars even though the problem started 3 to 4 yrs after cars were made.
