It’s ridiculous we pay as much as we pay for Toyota vehicles. Toyota does a phenomenal job mechanically but paint wise they’re lacking and we shouldn’t have to spend thousands of dollars to fix paint issues.

My real red 2013 toyota yaris started losing the clear coat in 2019! Big spots all over car and list paint now on a big area with rust. They ALL need to be recalled. I think they are waiting as long as possible so they won't include our older cars even though the problem started 3 to 4 yrs after cars were made.

I have a 2006, Tundra 4 door, salsa red color. I am the original owner. Had the roof repainted almost three years ago by an independent body shop. Now the hood is in terrible shape, paint peeling all over. I didn't know about any recalls. Maybe I can get at least get a discount for the rest of the truck.
