My 2019 Toyota Tacoma in Cavalry Blue (8W7) is also experiencing paint delamination, bubbling, general breakdown, and clear coat cloudiness. The 3rd party camper shell in the same color that was put on at the time of truck purchase is not experiencing these defects. The fact that my camper shell is in perfect condition despite being exposed to identical UV and environmental conditions since day one is baseline proof that the issue lies with the factory applied paint.

My car is a 2014 Toyota Avalon- Maroon. It has been peeling on the roof big sheet, and other spots. Bubbling on roof. Kept car clean and waxed over the years. Didn’t see or hear any recall notice. We owned 3 different Toyotas. One was a Toyota Avalon. I hope they make good and fix this major problem.

My 2019 tacoma has total clear coat failure. Reaching out to Toyota I was denied because I did not go to Toyota approved dealership for other unrelated servicing. Without any accidents I dont see what the engine (which works great) has to do with exterior paint

I have got a Toyota Yaris 2003 the paint work is all peeling off the lacquer is all coming off went to Lynches in Athlone today they told me the car was too old but I did not paint it I told them that’s happening for the past 10 years but I only learned about it one month ago that there was a problem with the paint work and that their was a recall on them Lynches told me I would have to pay it had nothing to do with them I told them I would park it across the road an display a sine on it for the

My 2018 Barcelona Toyota truck started peeling within two years of purchase, it looks horrible now the entire hood roof and sides of the door handles, and mirrors are all peeling off. I feel that Toyota should stand behind their vehicles being they were so expensive to purchase in the 50 years of my driving. I have never seen a vehicle like that. I bought Toyota because it was supposed to be dependable and supposed to hold its value.

Local paint shops do not want the business because they have lifetime warranty on all their paint jobs
