We, the residents of Gachibowli, Kondapur,Madhapur,Banjara Hills,Kukatpually...and many more areasin Hyderabadhave been suffering from bad smelling air for the past few years.
The air stinks of chemicals and it becomes acute during certain weather conditions and wind directions. We have noticed that this foul smell is very strong during night when everyone is sleeping.
For the past month or so it's getting worse. People living in our community, especially children, have been complaining of headaches and respiratory problems which could be because of the toxins in this foul smelling air. We have made several verbal complaints to APPCB but, to no avail. We are really concerned about the long term ill effects on our health by these fumes.
The APPCB has taken sample of the air, but has yet to provide us with any information on their sampling efforts.
Each undersigned name wishes to express deep disappointment with the APPCB officials to take this matter seriously and do something about it as soon as possible.

im still waiting on any real answers from the board after those air samples they took. its honestly frustrating that we have to deal with the smell and headaches while they just stay silent.

im honestly amazed at how many people are dealing with this same breathing issue in their own neighborhoods. the momentum is growing so fast and it proves we arent just imagining the smell. keeping the pressure on the board is the only way we get answers.

It is still same, no resolution yet. I think gov officials are getting handsome amounts from the chemical companies. So no body speaks about them.
I have been experiencing strong chemical smell in Hyderabad ever since I moved back from the US. Thinking of moving back because of this

Too much of factory chemical smell in Banjara hills road no 10. This is becoming more during nights and early mornings. Unable to bare the smell which is causing severe headaches. Don't know what happens to health in long term.
