Why is it that Mr. Goodlatte will only communicate directly with the upper echelon of the Republican party? If he bothered to listen to his constituents he might discover issues he's been unaware of or hear some very good ideas how to address some issues. The only way to do that is by directly communicating with his constituents. On the rare occasion someone gets any kind of response at all, please know that position specific form letters are NOT enough.

I am definitely interested in attending a reasonable town hall meeting, where Representative Goodlatte is able to discuss his views, initiatives, and direct legislation he has proposed to help the District. I would also like to see Representative Goodlatte participate in a question and answer session with his constituency.

I think it time to meet your constituents in a public forum and discuss how loss of protections for all citizens is somehow good for them. I would love to hear the justifications for eliminating environmental, safety, health and freedom FROM religion protections.

As constituents of the congressman we deserve a public town hall meeting during the next House of Representative's recess. Considering how long it has been since he fulfilled this duty as our representative it is long overdue.

Mr Goodlatte has become exactly what he railed against when first running in 1992 (when he promised to 'serve' no more than 12 years): an entrenched career politician oblivious to his constituents.

My name is Denise Moclair, and I am a constituent from 24401. I would like to urge Congressman Goodlatte to organize and attend a public town hall meeting by April 8th. The people he represents would value the opportunity to voice our concerns and hear from our representative. Thank you.

I've asked for access to public meetings with Goodlatte or his representatives, not held on Tues/Thurs during the day (my area's only times) and have received NO RESPONSE. Not even a standard email note acknowledging receipt on my query/mail.

A Town Hall meeting in each location - Harrisonburg, Roanoke and Lynchburg would be preferable given that he has not held one since 2013.
