Please come to the 6th for a town hall. At very least, you could have posted to your website that you were going to be in India during your scheduled week to be in the district. Please also secure larger venues for your Tuesday staff meeting days in Madison Hts and Forest. The current spaces do not accommodate the crowds that are attending. If you are not going to attend in person it would be helpful to send a staff member who has the authority to speak on your behalf. I also wanted to let you know that I find it very disappointing that you have made at least three local appearances (2 at LU and 1 at SBC) recently but will not meet with your constituents.

Show up and face your constituents Bob. You work for us. Do your freaking job. Which includes facing people when they ask you repeatedly to be present for town meetings. No more absentee representation of the 1%. I am over it!

I think citizens should have an opportunity to meet with Congressman Goodlatte and listening to various viewpoints is important. There are citizens sincerely concerned about the repeal of the A CA. A phone town hall meeting that Congressman Goodlatte conducts is not enough. He represents all the citizens of his district and he should be willing to meet them, even if they hold different view point than him or the Republican party.

Congressman Goodlatte should provide direct access to the voters who have supported him, by holding a town meeting in Roanoke.
He needs to be accountable to the people who elected him. If he is not going to speak with voters, voters need to find another candidate who better represents and is accountable to a wide variety of the citizenship.
