Destroying a community of retirees is unnecessarily cruel. Please rethink.

Disgraceful they want to close Tower House. Such a shame when money comes before people's lives and homes.

Sheltered housing in the centre of our village i.e. Tower House, keeps elderly residents in the heart of the village that many have grown up in and lived in all their lives. We do not want to loose the opportunity for "locals to stay local" in their latter years and still remain part of the community when they are less active. We'll be grateful for support one day!

I grew up in Iver and knew many residents from tower house. Now as an adult my grandad loved there when he could no longer cope alone as do many of my aunts friends and one day my aunt may more in. As villagers get older they get scared and want to stay in an area they know and love and where their friends are. Please do not close this heart of the community our elderly need to feel they belong.

These homes including Verdon Court in Farnham Royal are a great way for many older people to meet and socialise in an independent life style without being a drain on anyone. They should be encouraged not closed

I am deeply shocked that this is may happen. And feel very sad for our older community as without this type of housing a lot of people would be able to maintain their independent lives. So very sad. Hope this helps

Iver needs sheltered housing for our elderly residents. They need reassurance that they can move into a safe, smaller community when things get too much for them. They need to be near Doctors Surgery, shops, library, post office, church and bus stop so they can continue with their lives in the community and not feel lonely and forgotton and disrespected. Where are they going to live if this sheltered housing is demolished?

Tower House is much needed in Iver, so please do not close it. It will mean so many local people will have to move out of the village if closure goes ahead

This is sheltered housing being taken away from our elderly residents who want to live as independently life as they possibly can. They have probably lived in the village of Iver all their lives. Please have some respect for our them. If you need to build more houses/flats build them somewhere else, such as GerrardsX or Beaconsfield. The council tax isn't as much there.

I can just imagine why this has come about, but our elderly deserve more respect than this. Many of us may be in the same situation some day. This is a home and a community to these people. Relocating them to different areas is cruel to those who do not want move at this time of their lives but are not given the basic right to choose.
