Stafford County is in dire need of a new elementary school and we need it now. The overcrowding of schools and associated traffic in Garrisonville District is doing a disservice to our students and Stafford families.
We request the Stafford Board of County Supervisors to immediately approve the expedited construction of a new elementary school to ease overcrowding. Additionally, we request the new elementary school be located outside Garrisonville District to ensure students from other parts of Stafford are able to attend schools closer to their own homes, thereby reducing the overcrowding at the existing elementary schools in Garrisonville District, reducing school related traffic in Garrisonville, and providing shorter commutes for Stafford students.

Seeing the growing momentum for this relocation proposal confirms that many of us share the same vision for our county infrastructure. It is encouraging to realize that so many people value the need for balanced growth that reaches beyond the current bottleneck.

The traffic down here is a nightmare every single morning. My kids are sitting on the bus way too long. Just build it already.
PLEASE build it elsewhere. My son is in a trailer right now because the school is so over capacity. It is not fair to them.
Garrisonville is completely packed. We need some relief in other parts of the county too not just in the same spot!
Ridiculous how long this has been an issue. Getting across town to school shouldnt take 45 minutes!
We need more schools built with the growth going on here. Stop dragging your feet.

I am so tired of the morning mess. Move the construction to where we actually need the space.
