Torvill and Dean should have been knighted years ago, for their achievements to ice skating and nobody have come close to bettering them.
So many people get knighted for a lot less.
Lewis Hamilton just been knighted for services to his sport.
So definitely Torvill and Dean for theirs.

I just came across 'Torvill And Dean - The Perfect Day' on YouTube and was again astonished at their natural talent, work ethic and sheer mbition. I said to my wife "were they knighted?". My wife didn't know so I Googled my question and was ashamed that they hadn't! It is hardly acceptable that they haven't had the highest recognition. I guess Robin Cousins should also be recognised. At 74yrs, I'll never see the likes of them again.....it's an Andy Murrray winning Wimbledon situation. Please do something about this.
