Congestion from bike lanes only pushes the traffic on the side streets and the cars that sit only produce more pollution

No more bike lanes.... PLEASE FOR EVERYONES SAFETY

And say no to the planned bike lanes east of Victoria Park

Keep bike lanes off the main roads,and no to the bloor west Up to six points.

Toronto does not have the right climate for bike lanes, ex winter time.

Traffic congestion is causing a greater amount of exhaust and the bikes are not obeying the traffic laws.

I believe that bike routes should not be on major streets. We live off Danforth Ave and Victoria Park area in the east side. We already see longer waits and more congestion due to the lanes west of Victoria park. What took us a couple mins to come from Warden can take 10-20 extra mins with the congestion due to decreased lanes on the west side. Do not put them on the main road in and out of the down town core.

Causes terrible traffic congestion. Not wenlugh people use it to justify. Seniors are not not able to use a bike very often, due to age and disabilities. Population is aging and not as agile.

bike lanes do not work in Toronto. It is too cold. They increase congestion instead of reducing it.

Yonge st between Bloor and St Clair is disgraceful, impassable, pollution inducing and dangerous. Why have we gone from almost no bike lanes to having them on almost every street. Apart from the problems mentioned above, Toronto is now one big eyesore because of the ad-hoc way the city has built the pathways. Stop, take a breath, and fix what we already have, using data you should have. JG.

There are too many bike lanes for the number of cyclists who use them. They are often empty while cars are lined up bumper to bumper. This city isn't a city for bike lanes. You can ride about 10K to work. Any longer is too long. And the bike lanes can be on side streets not main streets. Traffic is being choked to death for a loud minority.

Please do not put bike lanes into the Kingsway area of the city.

total mess on BloorWest between Dundas West and Runnymede, congestion, very limited visibility when entering from the side streets, when turning into side streets you stop the entire traffic behind you because you have to double check the bike lanes which are behind park cars and then the pedestrians crossing the street. Bike lanes on Annette are acceptable although the congestion is up as well. Please notice there are only few east-west corridors in our neighbourhood and St. Clair is limited to one lane each way, Dupont and Bloor also limited to one lane when driving under the train tracks on those streets.

The bike lanes over the Allen are bad enough. The fact that they have now put in a timed light at the bottom of the entrance to the Allen Road to accommodate these lanes only backs up the traffic to the NEIGHBOURING streets more than ever. Time to wake up and smell the coffee. Let's look at what YOU have done and fix it. The real estate they used for the bike lanes that don't connect is taking up valuable land. LAND WAS TO BE PURCHASED FOR THESE LANES THAT DON'T CONNECT. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN (THE PURCHASE) BUT THE BIKE LANES DID.

I understand the safety arguments supporting bike lanes. Instead of lanes, perhaps bikes should be prohibited from major arterial roads during rush hour periods.

Bike Lanes have made downtown driving a mess. Roads that used to run smoothly are now gridlocked. Many of my friends avoid downtown toronto now. Im sure its effecting many businesses that these people previously frequented that no longer go downtown

The bike lanes have gotten ridiculous. They are often empty while cars are lined up bumper to bumper. I stopped going downtown because driving has become impossible in the city. They clearly are the result of the vociferous minority.
