bike lanes on the danforth are causing businesses to lose clients due to lack of parking, it causes accidents due to tight parking spaces. Bikers are speeding causing safety issues for pedestrians.

Please get rid of the bike lanes

I live in the Oakridge area of south west Scarborough. The Danforth is a disaster with the bike lanes. I never see any bikes. Please do not put anymore bike lanes on the busy streets.!!

Bikes should be on sidewalks

Bikes should also not be permitted on artery roads during rush hour , a bicycle rider impedes the natural flow of traffic due to the fact that many drivers are fearful of passing cyclists without changing lanes

build dedicated bike lanes where possible not on busy roads. Count the volume of bikers and cars and prioritize them accordingly. the bike lane on busy roads that sits un used for half of the year is not worth investing.

I cycle all the time and completely agree with this cause. Worst thing is cycling on busy and congested streets...accidents and injuries waiting to happen. I much prefer the quiet side streets.

Bike lanes should not be on major roads. They have made some of the roads (such as west end Bloor) much more hazardous and dangerous to cyclist, pedestrians and cars . Bike lanes make more sense on less busy roads.

There are way too many bike lanes. Particularly on the busiest streets. It's not only squeezing the traffic causing great delays, it is also causing a lot more pollution as cars are idling in traffic.

Please also re-instate the lakeshore ramp to the Gardiner. Contractors in my industry are refusing to take work in the east end due to reduced connection to the rest of the city. No highway access and every east-west route reduced to a single lane due to bike lanes is hurting business.

Sadly the luxury of bike lanes on Yonge Street is in appropriate, the road is too narrow & it's dangerous for everyone. Please please remove them.

It is too dangerous for the biker. The practical reasons for no bike lanes should be obvious to members of the city council. Toronto is not a culturally oriented bike community like Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Portland, Boulder or Montreal.

Great points. Bloor Street bike lanes have created a weird layout that seems unnecessary……bike lanes should be on streets with less vehicle traffic and less “J” walking shoppers…..for safety.

Sick and tired of changes made to arterial streets with virtually zero consultation. Who is running this city? Saw a "save bloor" sign. How do I get one?

Stop the ridiculous policy of putting bike lanes on main roads like Bloor Street. Why purposely increase traffic gridlock when bike lanes can be installed on less busy roadways. There is no good reason at all for putting bike lanes on main arteries.
