He's the first and only remaining great DJ

Absolute legend. Many have done far less and received knighthoods/damehoods. 56 years at the BBC, now 80 and still entertaining the British people. Come on! He deserves it!

Love his style of broadcasting, professional always and respectful and funny with his daft jokes.

Tony is a living legend, he should have been knighted years ago.

Should have been given this years ago, for his services to music nobody does it better.

I’ve been a fan since my teens. I’m now 65 and still think he’s the best DJ. He deserves this through all the changes to broadcasting that has happened throughout the years and at 80 still entertains his listeners.

His services have been impeccable

After all the years of entertainment he has provided,he definitely deserves to be recognised. I started listening to him when he was on radio Caroline.

Tony Blackburn is a UK treasure providing us with amazing music and his unique sense of humour. Very good for mental health. It will be his 80th birthday in 2023
