I believe that not only actors make a movie or theater come together and not only are there costumes representation as well. The overall appearance is what sets that character apart from the others. Every strand weaves and creates. It evokes a characters age, appearance, and background, it helps to define culture and hygienic practice, health and so much more. Imagine how differently things would look without taking into account a characters hair. Wig makers should be noticed and recognized for their immense talent and skill and for their ability to bring a character to life.

We should recognize the artists that complete characters with hair and make-up design. Their contribution is just as valuable as any other technical aspect of theater.
