Wig master of 34 years. The work we do is vitally important to the physical part of a character, and I have had so many professional actors tell me that the wigs and hair are often the final transformative key to their work. The time for a separate award from Costume Design is long overdue. Thank you.

Wigs and hair design are an integral part of creating authentic authenticity in costuming. This is a key factor in the audiences experience and should be recognized just as other aspects of the production are.
