This has been going for at least two decades in Lakewood and no one cared or even wondered about the impact. Now that it is your town, NOW you want to do something about it SMH. Tom's river and all the surrounding towns of Lakewood deserve what happens here. Wait till your Mayor is a member of the orthodox community then it is only a matter of time when the surrounding towns of Lakewood will be the same as Lakewood.

Big No!
It starts with one, which opens the door to more. Loss in tax revenue and increased traffic are only the beginning.
Don't forget that Toms River school buses only operate within Toms River, meaning more families with children will come to our town to live here and make it their own.

This is a blatant attempt at tax evasion by means of extorting a loop hole built in to our laws, whoever commits an act such as this should be held just as accountable as those who fail to pay taxes. I feel it is our governments duty to close this loop hole and ensure that any who try to utilize again are penalized accordingly by the IRS. This is a country, we must all do our part regardless of religion or knowledge of the laws flaws, in fact I find the lack of moral concern frightening.

We do not need this madness in our town nor do our children. We have enough going on. This will create havoc we do not need. I totally oppose this.

Research has indicated that the use ordinance in Toms River Township that states that houses of worship and schools cannot be in residential zones. They must be established in RHB zoning. The property at 2001 Church Road is in a residential zone and it was purchased after the ordinance was in place.
We believe that additional traffic in an already congested residential zoned area, will only serve to have a negative impact on the community. We are strongly opposed to the use variance.

Reject this. We don't need more buses and traffic in this area. And separate buses for boys and girls is more tax money from us.

Do not allow the variance, please. It is a violation of civil property rights for the citizens of Toms River and an imposition of arbitrary privilege in favor of particular parties, something which is not permitted by the law, state, township, or otherwise.

I strongly oppose the allowance of this property on Church Road to be designated as a commercial property. Do not sell out on our residence!!
