While I sign this petition I question the motives. Is this REALLY about the law or keeping a group out of our beloved TR? If it is about the law than we need to allow the court to decide this NOT us. We do not have all the facts involved. Were any zoning laws changed in TR over last ten years? YES. So let the courts decide the law. if it's about the traffic than we need to truly understand the effect such a variance will have.
We can be civil and appose this if that's what we wish but WITHOUT THE HATE.

Mark the date!!! Zoning board of adjustment @ Toms River North HS Auditorium on 12/17 @ 7:30 re: Chabad of Toms River variance request. 8.773 Acres assessed at $815,800 as of 2014, looking for tax exempt status.
Township says tax rate had to rise due to continuing loss of tax revenue related to "Sandy". Giving this location tax exempt status is not the way to recoup losses.
Be there on the 17th at 7:30 to express your objections..

It's an already developed neighborhood and would be a disservice to those who live there as well as the rest of the community.
There are entirely to many disadvantages to granting this variance, they simply out weight the advantages for only a very small minority of the local residents..

Not interested in the complete revamping of a very settled neighborhood. The services and traffic on church Rd. are already challanging at times and the intention of the realestate companies and clients is to develope a different use with substantial increases

it would be a disservice to the residents or our town to honor such a request that violates the conditions under which current homeowners purchased their properties. Residential zones do not accommodates schools. Toms River Schools have spent millions of dollars to properly handle egress and traffic flow. Changing the dynamic of a current residential zone is unjust

It would be UNREASONABLE to contradict existing zoning laws, especially if variances include exemptions of taxes!
