Tax Records show that 2001 Church Rd is owned by "Chabad Jewish Center of Toms River" and that they are already NOT PAYING TAXES ... take a look at the tax assessor web site yourselves ... when did this happen? When were previous zoning variances given? It seems the Zoning Board has some explaining to do ... https://wipp.edmundsassoc.com/Wipp1508/#taxPage70091

I am a resident of Toms River. I question why 10 parking places were built for a residence. Was this in anticipation of a variance request? Parking for 10 adults is far more than is needed for 40 students who don't drive. Do they anticipate increasing the student population? How any adults? How many students? How will they get there? Can the roads handle this traffic compressed into a short time? Does the residence meet fire code for 40+ people? Will this property become tax exempt? I am opposed to the variance.

I feel like there is no need of a large group of people to move to our town due to the population we already; have a lot of people. All the roads and streets I live by are already very busy and filled with traffic all times of the day.

Please do not approve the building of this school. Church Rd. Is already a congested area and this school will only add more congestion. This will also pose a huge safety concern for people who live and commute through that area.

I must admit I'm confused ... is this property already being used as a community center?? There is a web site and a Facebook page that says so!! If this address is still zoned residential - then isn't this some type of code violation?? http://www.chabadtomsriver.com/ (scroll down to bottom of page to see address of 2001 Church Rd Toms River) https://www.facebook.com/JewishTomsRiver/

Please let's get together and oppose this. Our taxes are high enough and all residential properties should contribute.
