Remember, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than a permission. Once in, try to get them out. The 2001 Church Road is the beginning of many more like attempts to get their footing in Toms River. Just look at Lakewood and ask the old timers how it was 20 years ago.

Wrong place...right opposite the entrance to Holiday City. Traffic there
is bad enough for most of the day.

Residential areas should remain residential. The increased traffic alone is an issue without further considerations that would include noise levels, property drainage/runoff, environmental impact, etc. Keep Toms River residential neighborhoods residential.

As a toms river resident we have enough congestion. The taxes have already gone up significantly because of sandy and we can't afford another increase.

I have not seen a traffic safety study provided, Are sidewalks , bus stop, additional bathrooms, etc. to be constructed? Children s safety and health need to be determined. Waste disposal? etc....
This is not necessary in this area. Purchase property in correctly zoned area and abide by the townships current plan of growth. I can think of a number of reasons why this is unsafe and absolutely unnecessary.

I am surprised to see that 2001 Church Road is classified as a Church/Charitable Property Class (15D) when it is in a residential zone. Given its 15D status, this property exempt from paying taxes on its $815,800 assessed value.

This petition is totally ridiculous. Many seniors in the town are already paying school taxes for children that are not theirs. Our taxes are extremely high and it is very difficult to afford our own living. Knowing that they will change a single resident home into a school to avoid paying taxes and put their burden on us is ludicrous. Enough, if they are exempt then I will have to see what can be done to follow in their example and advice everyone else to follow suit.

No schools of any type (other than TR public schools) in TR residential neighborhoods.
Next it will be higher taxes for "special busing" depleting the TR school budget of needed resources for the tax paying TR residents. Schools of this sort will then bring in additional section 8 housing on the outskirts and inside of TR.
One only has to look at the depletion of Township resources in locations such as Lakewood and the towns in Rockland County to understand what will happen to TR.
Land Zoning is here for a purpose, and in TR its here to help the TR residents maintain a community which we can live quietly and enjoy our surroundings.

This will put a great burden on the taxpayers of Ocean County.
