Madame, Monsieur, La communauté des fans de Tomb Raider et du personnage de Lara Croft, à l'échelle internationale, souhaiterait vous informer d'un désir commun concernant les futurs adaptations cinématographiques de la célèbre archéologue et aventurière au cinéma : Lara Croft. En effet, après deux films dans lesquels le personnage de Lara Croft était interprétée par l'actrice Angelina Jolie, nous avons pris connaissance via les médias d'un nouveau projet d'adaptation de la franchise Tomb Raider au cinéma, dans le cadre d'un "reboot". Après de longs moments de réflexion chez les fans de Tomb Raider, nous pensons en majorité qu'afin de réellement rendre hommage à ce personnage phare de l'univers vidéoludique, il serait mieux d'adapter ses aventures dans des films en images de synthèses, à l'image des films "Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children" et "Resident Evil Degeneration", ou encore des sagas "L'Âge de Glace" et "Shrek", et non en prises de vue réelles. Ce désir commun nous est venu à l'esprit tout simplement parce qu'il n'y aura probablement jamais d'actrices qui pourra incarner le personnage de Lara Croft à la perfection, et surtout parce qu'il n'y a qu'UNE SEULE ET UNIQUE LARA CROFT : CELLE DES JEUX VIDÉO. De plus, les récents succès de films en images de synthèse prouvent qu'il y a une certaine demande croissante des spectateurs à ce niveau là, et nous restons persuader que se sera la meilleur solution afin de contenter toute la "communauté Tomb Raider" à travers le monde. Bien entendu, cette pétition est à titre informative, et n'a pour but que de vous faire part de notre avis et de nos attentes concernant les adaptations cinématographiques du personnage de Lara Croft. In fact, after two movies where the character of Lara was played by Angelina Jolie, we learned through the media of a new adaptation project of Tomb Raider franchise in theaters, with the technique of the « Reboot ». After long moments of reflexion in the Tomb raider’s Community, we believe in the majority that the only solution to really pay homage at this major character of the gaming universe, it would be better to adapt her adventures in CGI movie, like « Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children » and « Resident Evil Degeneration », or sagas like « Ice Age » and « Shrek », and not in live action movie. This common desire is came simply that there never will probably actresses which may incarnate the character of Lara Croft at the perfection, and mostly because there is ONLY ONE AND SINGLE LARA CROFT : THE CHARACTER OF THE VIDEO-GAMES. Moreover, recent successes of CGI films prove that there some growing request of spectators at this level, and we remain convinced that it will be the best solution to satisfy all of « Tomb Raider’s Community » in the world.
