The administration at Ferris State continues to ignore the secondhand smoke choking our students and staff. I am currently demanding a formal sit down with the board to hold them accountable for these pathetic health standards.

The momentum we have built makes it impossible for the administration to keep ignoring our health. Ferris State leadership can no longer hide behind their excuses while students are forced to breathe in this poison every single day.

A SmokeFreeCampus would be wonderful! 2nd & 3rd-hand smoke is soooooo unfair to those of us who choose Not to use tobacco products.
This would be great!. It's not about controlling how people live. It's about trying to help others be healthier! I've heard "it's their body, let them do what they want" a lot, but that's just not caring about other people because you don't think they affect you. It's important for people to think about!
Carcinogens are nothing to be fooled around with and public areas such as main campus must be smoke free for everyones health to have been impacted as little as possible vis carcinogens exposure.
I am in favor of a Tobacco-Free-Campus, Also as a result, of Health Issues such as second hand smoke, also agents in the tobacco such as tar, it is not easy to implement change however, maybe begin with a area designated only for smoking Tobacco! just as carbon monoxide from gas emissions are environmental thus is second hand smoke! please invite all those who share in this endeavor to also sign this petition it is a very important cause;
I hope this includes Kendall, because I'm sick of everyone smoking right in front of the main door. It's disgusting.
Let's end this madness!!

Stop the toxic littering! Take that stuff off campus, we are a classy school and the image of a smoker outside the library does not reflect that!
