I think it's about time students are taught what safe sex is. It is unrealistic to think everyone is going to remain abstinent until marriage. These kids just need information to stay safe.

In any other subject, parents would be outraged that teachers were spreading misinformation. Why should sex education be any different?

Abstinence only programs do nothing. We need comprehensive sex education; this results in smarter choices, lowered teen pregnancy rates, and a decrease in STI's. Sexual Education IS public health, therefore it should be taught in highschools.
