This new McDonald's will bring anti social behaviour to the Lyde green estate and isn't the right type of establishment to be built near two schools.

Don't let another of these vile producers of junk food be allowed on our doorstep

The area needs leisure facilities in all shapes and sizes, not food outlets.

Have a Mc Donald's build here would attracted a load of boy racers and trouble to a really nice area.

I strongly appose this application of Mc Donald's. Do we need to encourage more bad eating habits / poor diet amoungst children and adults . This area does not need anymore fast food restaurants .

There is already a significant choice of food outlets from Longwell Green to Emerson Green to Abbeywood, coupled with those available in Downend. This area needs open leisure space not more commercial food trade.

This McDonald's goes completely against the grain of the development feel. Having a fast food chain so close to a residential area will be disastrous for children's health and promote anti-social behaviour. The local infrastructure can't cope with the existing traffic of the Lyde Green development in its early stages; a drive- thru McDonalds will create chaos and danger for local children.

No thanks, Filton and Longwell Green already have McDonalds, this is a family orientated area and it should be kept that way.

Having a McDonald's would cause a lot of antisocial behaviour to build up around the area, similar to instances at longwell green McDonald's.

I say NO to McDonald's in a family new build estate- especially with 3 new schools planned

I have huge concerns associated with this application. This is an area populated by families, as such the significant increase in traffic and pollution will not be in the best interest of the families in the area. I have concerns not only with the fact that this will be another fast food restaurant in the area, there's already McDonald's at longwell green and Filton, but also with diabetes and obesity on the increase, planners should be approving plans for healthy leisure facilities, not 24 hour drive through take always. I also have concerns with the fact that such establishments by their very nature encourage anti social behaviour. It is well known that such establishments tend to have problems with gangs of youths. A fast food restaurant of this nature is the last thing this family area needs and I urge the local planning authority to refuse the application

Please do not ruin what Lyde Green is all about. Absolutely unnecessary. Lots and lots of annoyed residents.

I don't think a McDonald's would be good in lyde green, there would be litter, more congestion and alot more young people hanging around the area. I think it would devalue the area too. There's is a few people I know who have purchased a house in lyde green who have said they don't want to move into it now if they build a McDonald's. I also live in lyde green and think it's just the wrong way to go, an activity center would be more appreciated as there are lots of kids in the area.

We have enough fast food places in the local area already.

Totally unnecessary. The outlet in Longwell green is only a few minutes away.

Will cause too much trouble with the gangs of youths and yobs that will hang around outside it
