This is a high populated new residential housing area. A mcDonalds so close to houses will cause a lot of issues including Anti Social Behaviour, increase in crime and a huge increase in resident safety. Due to cut backs the police will struggle to assist as Longwell Green McDonalds has endless amounts of issues and even employ door staff. The police are called constantly to sort out Anti Social Behaviour, there aren't enough police officers as it is, it will be impossible to cover 2 mcDonalds at the same time. At least Longwell Green is away from any houses so doesn't cause dramatic effects to residents where Lyde Green will be far to close to residents. Not only will this cause high anti social behaviour but it will also effect well being and safety in the area. As Lyde Green is a quiet residential area there are also a lack of pavements so with a 24 hour McD, this will increase traffic and young drivers to speed through the area, causing a danger to pedestrians and especially children. Crime rate will also rise as it wil be bringing more people to the area at anti social hours encouraging people to be a nuisance outside people's homes. When Lyde green was being built residents were not made aware of this as it was supposed to be a gym and it's unfair to spring it on them now. There are plenty more different opportunities that can be put here instead that will make the same if not more amount of profit and cause less stress and strain to the local authorities

I oppose due to the increased traffic pollution and anti social behaviour - the community wasn't meant to be that of a busy one but more of a residential one

We have a huge problem in this country with obesity, and the sooner that there are restrictions put in place restricting fast food chains from opening outlets within a certain distance of an existing outlet, the better...

There does not need to be another McDonald's between the already existing Filton and Longwell Green chains.

Not only is this development not in keeping with the area, it will bring added congestion and anti social behavior. This is a residential development, not retail.
What the community needs its sports and leisure facilites that are within walking distance.

I object strongly to this application. We have an issue with obesity in this country and another opportunity for 24hour eating is just not needed. There are already other fast food outlets on the ring road. Why do we need another. I think McDonald's should be made to prove what they will be adding to our community.

The proximity to schools and families plus the increase in traffic on the area by users of the food outlet will cause the neighbours problems with access and increase the risk of road accidents.

24/7 Mcdonalds right next to Lyde Green which is prompted as having a 'village feel' is not appropriate and the anti-social behaviour it will attract to the area is not desirable.

Specifically NOT a requirement of a residential area. 24 hr opening proposal can only indicate that owners aim to attract users from outside the area at times that would would be completely alien and anti-social to the local community.

What the Emerson Green & Lyde Green area's need are play & leisure areas...not more fast food joints..
These residential areas are for families and so do not need more fast food outlets

No aspect of McDonald's is suitable for this site.
There are enough suitably accessible McDonald's via road routes locally.
There is a desperate need for something healthy locally which can be accessed for older children / teens. McDonald's will not help promote this.
