Why,why does a new housing development require a McDonalds with two other outlets within a five minute journey , The extra noise generated and with it anti social behaviour , beggars belief why the planning authority would even consider it . Say NO

There are already two McDonalds restaurants within 10 minutes of this proposed location. Neither of which are so closely located to housing. Placing a fast food establishment of any nature in this location would be socially irresponsible. The issue of traffic on the Ring Road is already well documented. Adding an "Attraction" like this to an already struggling infrastructure is going to put lives at risk. And not just from heart disease and diabetes.

As a young person living in the Emersons green area I am strongly opposed to this development especially as there is a McDonalds restraunt 5 minutes away it's ridiculous

This area doesn`t need a fast food outlet ,totally at odds with the environment here.What the area does need is a B&Q type store.

I have two concerns: even more congestion at the Lyde Green roundabout as extra traffic will choose the site as a destination and additional litter

there's 2 within a 5 min drive one in yate and one at longwell green and they have trouble with the youngster as i have a friend who dose security at aspects leisure complex

The wrong place for a fast food outlet of any kind - will create litter to the immediate and surrounding area (including a SNCI); anti-social behaviour for the surrounding housing; is too close to where schools are planned and will create additional traffic at peak times at what is already a very busy junction that is due to get busier with the metrobus link.

We should be protecting our conmunities. By having a McDonald's here it is against this on so many levels. It becomes a hangout place for large groups and increades anti social behaviour. It is encouraging people to drive. We already have a very unhealthy society with obesity at an extreme. Environmental issues over significantly increased amounts of litter leading to more rats like there is at filton.

Do Not build McDonald's on lyde green estate. How about a family run coffee shop instead. Promote small local businesses not large chains!

With two local McDonald's already I do not think it is necessary to have an additional outlet in lyde green. This will bring rubbish strewn along the ring road and in the village as you can see every morning in longwell green. The area requires a leisure centre or gym to encourage a healthier lifestyle.

We don't need another!!!!! fast food chain enough temptation as it is for kids and adults even my 14 year old agrees it's redickulus. Open a youth center instead with sport facilties where kids can meet or have family time together be smart think outside the box and don't do what all new developments do we have health problems as it is let's start to make things better
