I object to the McDonalds drive thru due to the impact this will have on traffic congestion.
Additionally I would prefer to see more recreational facilities for the community

I have just bought a house at this development and don't want a McDonalds or Burger King etc. If I wanted this type of food outlet in my neighbourhood, I would have bought one where there is one. This certainly wasn't explained by the developer.

McDonald's will bring more traffic to an already congested area and there are already 2 in close proximity. It will add to noise pollution and 24 hrs is not suitable to bring boy racers out in to the car parks near a housing estate. My friend is a McDonald's manager and I know for a fact that it happens.

I think to provide cheap unhealthy food is not what we should be promoting to the next generation in the UK unless we wanted another America here with its obesity epidemic and all it's complications. With an ever strained NHS this is not viable....

Fast food on a new development spells disaster, some have paid an enormous amount on new homes & do not want the continual traffic & mess from a fast food outlet.

I have just bought an apartment in lyde green and knowing there would be a McDonald's built near by that would have swayed my final decision. Why can't useful things be built like doctors or parks for children? Why is it always fast food everywhere we go?
