We do not need nd most certainly do not want "drive-through-restaurants" with corresponding obesity problems in the community. What we do need and desire is not consumerism but sportsfacilities including an indoor swimming pool for every young ( and old) person to benefit from.

Opposed to this travesty of an idea. The area needs modern sports facilities not a junk food restaurant. We should be encouraging the people of the area especially the youth to live healthy lifestyles, excercise regularly and eat a balanced healthy diet. Where have we gone wrong in this country in which swimming pools are closed, cuts are made to healthcare providers and Yet McDonald are actively encouraged to peddle their greasy wares just because it might create some new jobs.

This is a new development trying to promote a pleasant place to live. McDonalds, Lidls etc. do NOT fit that criteria with their ugly 'in your face' branding. Please please keep our new area a nice place to live peacefully and bring up our children

We 'DO NOT' need anymore American fastfood outlets or major supermarkets. The nation is saturated with them & they are no good. #supportthegreenoutdoors

The last thing we need at Emersons Green/Lyde Green is a McDonalds, drive through or otherwise. The many school chidren in the vicinity do not need this - they need leisure land where they can run and exercise. There is already a McDonalds in Longwell Green, 10 minutes drive away. This is not needed on any basis.

There was no mention of this on any plans when we moved to lyde green, we were informed and plans suggested a leisure centre and community facilities not retail outlets.

This completely goes against the 'village' vision for Lyde Green which is one reason why I moved here. Also there seems to be no sense in increasing traffic at an already busy junction especially as there are supermarkets and pubs only over the other side of the roundabout.

I am an emersons green resident and when I heard about these plans was strongly opposed. The size and scale of the development to not act as a landmark development required in such a prominent location. The area is badly in needed of leisure and play facilities given the increased building at lyde green. A drive through restaurant is also out of character and out of place with the area ( and there are plenty within a few miles). Simon

I live on a part of Emersons Green that is closest to the proposed development. I am concerned by worsening congestion on the roundabout, increase in litter in the area which is already bad, late night noise and anti social behaviour. I do not believe this development will add anything to this community but instead will harm the family centred focus of it.

I do not want this at the bottom of my garden! There are plenty of empty units in the emersons shopping centre for a Macdonalds.

I would like to object to the planned fast food takeaway. It will bring noise and disruption to the area which will affect people living there. With several fast food places close by there is no need.

I would like to object to the proposal. Already having fast food establishments within a few miles a new drive in is not requried. Also as it is close to school, this will encourage children to visit. Within walking distance of the Rosary roundabout there are alreadz several pubs and supermarkets.

We don't need another one here as this will cause lots of noise and even more rubbish have plenty of fast food chains near to this area already...
