McDonald's will not be an asset in any way to Lyde Green and Emersons, it will attract increased traffic , pollution, noise and rodents. With long opening hours it is not welcome.

9 Newlands Lane I strongly object to a new McDonald's so close to my home. Had I known this I would not have chosen the area. This will result In spoiling such a lovely residential area attracting antisocial behaviour

I am 17 years old and have lived in Emersons Green all my life, I strongly object to the proposed building of a Mcdonalds in Lyde Green, it goes against the vision of Emersons Green as a community centred place to live and we need more areas for children to be active my father used to be chairman of the South Glos council and he campaigned for Emersons Green park to be built, this is against everything the community stands for. The noise and added traffic to an already heaving ring road will cause havoc and wreck a promising new community. We should set a precedent to the future generations and give them places they can be active and sociable.

Leisure and play facilities should be provided for this new community not fast food outlets.

There is a McDonalds in Longwell Green so another one so close is not necessary. It will increase traffic in an already busy part of the ring road.

No more fast food outlets are needed certainly not in a new housing development! The mess, the noise what a ridiculous idea

Not the right place for it at all. It will cause massive disturbances to the locals who have only just moved in there! The traffic alone in a residential area would be ridiculous and near a school, not a sensible idea!

This area is promoted as a green area and I don't agree that McDonald's fits into this discription, There are plenty of mcdonalds in all areas so not needed here. It will also attract unwanted attention from youths and cause more traffic in the area.

Litter, traffic and out of hours nuisance is not what is needed in lyde green/emersons green.

I am against a fast food outlet as it will be too close to residential properties. I would prefer to see facilities for the growing youth population. There is also a desperate need to reduce traffic not increase it by adding a drive through facility.

Lyde Green deserves investment from businesses that will match and support the demographic of the immediate area, not fast food 'restaurants' and budget pub chains. McDonalds does not need to be placed in high volume residential areas; retail parks are more suitable and are able to cope with the hours of operation and logistical demands. A McDonalds is an entirely unwelcome economic barometer, and will saturate the area with poor quality food outlets. New housing areas should be supplied with leisure and travel facilities, not burgers.

This would have a detrimental impact on the aesthetically pleasing nature of Emersons/Lyde Green and no doubt have a negative impact on the environment (litter, traffic noise and pollution) etc.

More leisure facilities needed not fast food. There's a macdonalds at longwell green that is no where near people's homes so customers can use that one.

Due to increase in road traffic, littering and noise to the local area.

As a resident of Lyde Green, I strongly object to the building of a fast food establishment. I have had no official notification of the proposed site either other than through social media.
