I do not understand why you would put this fast food chain right next to a housing estate, when it will bring litter, noise pollution and unwanted extra traffic in an already busy link road. The estate holds many families with kids and the extra traffic will only cause further hazards. It is not welcome.

The area is in strong need of leisure facilities not fast food outlets. As a resident of Lyde Green, I oppose of the planning application due to the anti social behaviour it will bring, health and safety of the residents due to increased traffic when the access road is already used as a rat run for cars at very high speeds at time. Noise and odour pollution is also a particular concern.

There are plenty of 'fast food' outlets within easy reach of Lyde Green and another one is not needed. The ring road can't cope with the traffic as it is. People tend to hang around places like this causing noise, trouble and litter problems this would not be fair on the residents.

I firmly disagree with a McDonalds being built at lyde green. I recently bought a property here and will not be happy with the estate being open to unnessary traffic in and out. Rubbish everywhere- potentially increasing seagulls and rats. There are far more nicer things that could be built here. Such as a gym- what happened to healthier living? A gym

I am opposed to the development of a fast food outlet due to increased traffic, excess waste, oudours, vermin, increased pressure for local independent food outlets, potential for anti social behaviour.
Also, this outlet would be easily accessed by children. Fast food is a cheap option and children will be drawn to this without making an informed decision about healthy food/living.
I would also like to see development fitting in around green landscapes. Gloucester services is a particularly good example of this.

I think having 2 drive through macdonalds already within 5 mins either way is enough it will attract mess, noise extra unnecessary traffic in what I was told when I purchased my property would be a quiet, green community

We have enough problems with some unruly teenagers without this to add to the mix and we have two McDonald's already, both less than 10 minutes away and both not in residential areas.

Should McDonalds be allowed to open in Lyde Green it's presence would probably result in more M4 traffic coming off both day and night to use it. The proposed Motorway exit which is already unpopular will be congested by the noise and pollution of short stay traffic. Lyde Green was designed as a residential area not a Motorway Service Station that will deprive Bristol businesses of income that they might earn from long distance travellers who might come into our City Centre to eat and shop. A set of Golden Arches would be of no benefit to local people.

There's no need to create another fast food outlet where young children & adults reside. McDonalds have a premises less than a mile from this location and so why do they feel there is a need to add another so close by. Also with the rise in childhood obesity this is a waste of money, how about creating a park or outdoor space that gives people something to do, gives back to the community and serves a purpose in educating kids and young adults??
