It costs me £5 to get my child to school each week but with this price increase it would triple and I'm already paying for school dinners which would cost me £120 every four weeks to send my child to a state school what a disgrace this country is falling into!

Why give pets free travel but TRIPLE the cost for a child?

Stagecoach prices are very high in Exeter compared to other cities. And now they are increasing the child fares. For what reasons!

My brother and I relay on these tickets as we travel from Exmouth to exeter everyday for school, since we have moved out of exeter recently. I usually costs us £22 a week (weekly megerider plus and child add on) and a pound everyday taking it too £26 by the end of the week. Without the add on, it will cost us £42 which my mum is struggling to afford espically after she originally couldn’t by the term rider upfront.

Bus prices are overpriced already especially compared to train prices. Does not offer good value and only encourages more car use.

Bus fares should be decreased to encourage more people to use them, not increased as this will only discourage use. It is already cheaper for me to drive and park, so rarely use the bus. I certainly would love to use public transport more, but not at those prices!

People will stop using the buses with family as it will be too expensive. Cutting your nose off to spit.

Too much of an increase for single parents

I can see this being a problem for both passengers and the drivers. Please don’t hate the drivers, they haven’t had a pay rise of 40% just an offer of 15p

As a single Mum of 4, I don't drive. Luckily the rail lines are good here because this will push me to use trains instead of buses.

We just have to keep the cost of public transport down to give affordable access to everyone. How else can Exeter reduce congestion and pollution?

Outrageous! 1 adult and 1 child in London would only cost £4.50 for the day.
