Bus fares rose by a large amount last year, making single fare tickets almost the price of a return two years previous. The average unemployed person will never be able to get a bus and the working class are always gooting the bill for OAP's
Were sick of it.

I was made aware of this fare whilst travelling with my parents using their bus passes. It's easier to take the bus than 2 cars. This will not be happening if the add on child is abolished.

The cost of bus travel is already at a point where myself and others I know just cant afford it.People will stop using the bus.I cant afford to pay for carparking either. So basically both car and bus are out.So online shopping and working from home it is.Thats great for the Devon economy!

Making it much more expensive for parents to take their children on the bus is socially and environmentally irresponsible.

It's appalling for those who use the buses on school.

I have four kids and I pay for a megarider for me and pay for 2 out of 3 kids that travel with me so £28.50 a week if it goes to £3 per child I would have to pay £48.50 a week of buy three megariders at £43.50 a week that's far to much and when my youngest is 5 I will need to pay £58.00

It’s utterly reprehensible that Stagecoach would consider a 200% price hike on fares. Stop your greedy cynical money grabs on parents often on low incomes and forced to use the bus and show some corporate responsibility!

Another terrible decision from stagecoach that shows that profit is all they care about. Bus services are an essential public service and should be run as such.

As a mum who is medically unable to drive, the £1 add on is a life saver, without this my children would lose out on lots of days out as the cost of getting there would be too prohibitive.

Increasing fares will affect families even more especially when incomes are already squeezed.

Kids bus fares should be cheap. It’s not fair to charge so much when we have school runs and college to get to xx
