Reward people for using public transport, which is a hassle in itself with waiting times and no seats half the time, don't penalise them by putting prices up!

Parents who use buses often cannot afford to run a car let alone pay for extra fares for children.

This is absolutely ridiculous, how do you expect families to afford this.

Shame on you Stage coach! Exploiting families at an already difficult time financially. People don't forget those who take advantage during difficult times. I hope you pay the price for your actions. My family simply will not use your already appalling services. I'm sure many others will follow suit.

I thought public transport was being encouraged. This does not help. And what about those who do not drive and need public transport at all times?

Stagecoach have no competition in the city. There is no tender process for public transport locally. It always used to be children were 1/3 of ticket price. This dayrider = 3/4. This company are taking advantage of being a monopoly in the area and DCC (with ECCs) help are allowing them to do so.

This is totally disabilitating for any family. Children need to find out how lovely Devon is and you are limiting their travel because even reasonably paid families can’t afford this increase. Why on earth have you got rid of charging for pets. Don’t you see you are putting animals before children. These children are the workforce of the future and if they do not feel for the area they will leave. This is truest shocking.

The change of the fare prices for children is absolutely diabolical especially if the government want us to be more greener and use public transport to help with congestion and not to use cars. This is a joke charging £3 per child when you can get to Bristol on a return fare for £10.60. Also this will affect a lot of parents who have more than one child to pay for and households income isn't going up any time fast. So how will people afford this??? You will certainly be losing customers due to price increase and causing more people to drive. Sort it out.

A day rider with 2 add ons gave me the option to travel by bus. A day rider and 2 child day riders gets rid of that option and makes me travel by car and pay to park. Well done stagecoach
