A disgusting rise. Make pensioners pay £1 instead.

So my bus fare for myself and my 7 year old to get to school and back will be over 25 pound. Council have stopped parents parking near the school. Environmental issues are not thought of either... Stagecoach.... Joke

I think they should stay a £1 think of the mums that use the bus to take there children school or for appointments that can't afford £3 and already had to put a £1back for each day of the week it's also hard for single parents come give us a break not everyone is made of money these days employed or unemployed your buses are getting expensive this day in age

This price rise would reduce the number of day trips my family are able to take in the school holidays!

I think it is outrageous that you expect people to afford paying £3 for a child to travel with an adult. How about doing a child week rider like you do for an adult, I am a single mum on a low income who just about manages to make ends meet, until prices increase. Can see why people drive.

This is shortsighted and do write g Stagecoach. When we discussed the extension of the £1 add on with you - to all day every day you agreed it was an investment in long term passenger development and making it affordable for families.

Absolute disgrace. Completely opposes the council goals. A pure money making move.
