Absolutely disgusting that they are getting rid of the child addiction on. I am a regular bus user as I don't drive and this is day light robbery!

I would not have been able to take my son on trips on school holidays if it wasn't for the £1 add on.
As a low income family with out a car, we relied on busses for all of our travel. Being able to take my child and a friend to the swimming pool or coast for a day out was a high light. It wouldn't have happened if tge fare for them was £6 a day.
We would have had to walk more and rely on bus service less

A disgusting rise in bus fares, Stop the County Councillors getting a pay increase and use this money to offset against the proposed bus increases.

I have had to stop using the bus since the cost is too prohibitive. What can we say of the state of public transit when parking or taxi makes more financial sense then the price of a 5 minute commute by bus!?

Far to high of an increase in price

Families are under so much pressure financially as it is. I would simply go to the out of town stores. Where I can park for free and not have to carry my shopping. This means my children will not even think of the high st as a shopping option in the future. The increase in prices are short sighted.

Surely if the bus fare from sweetbrier Lane into town for 2 adults and 1 child over 5 years cost more than a day ticket to park a car in town I'm definitely not going to be using public transport. it's ridiculous if you want to stop congestion and promote greener travel the bus prices need to be reduced. Increasing the child add-on fare from £1 to £3 is extortionate. families on a reduced limited income will find it difficult paying for that. I believe all junior school children should not have to pay to travel on the bus

I am a regular bus user, using the 2 and B services to take my two children to extra-curricular activities. This travel price increase makes this unfeasible and impacts us negatively. We are not alone.

We need to reduce car usage and promote public transport. Stagecoach's greedy price hikes are counterproductive.
