To Stagecoach: stop huge bus fare rises for children in Exeter (keep £1 child add-ons) 2018

How can Exeter deliver sustainable transport solutions with this sort of inflation annihilating price hike?

Please keep the £1 add-on, I'm a single mother working full-time but cannot afford a car on my wages hence using public transport

A family of 2 adults and 2 children will cost £14 return to get to town and back which is ridiculous. Car parking will only cost aboutique £4

Stop giving students handouts and help the people that built this city and keep it running.

I understand that when the Add on was introduced it was to get low paid people with children on the buses. It worked lots more were travelling.

We need to be encouraging children and adults to walk/cycle/use the bus, not clog the streets with cars. Fare hikes like this penalise young families and put more people in cars.

Pubic transport is expensive enough!

I have gran children that I take on the bus in the school holidays. I do not drive and going to Exmouth and Crealy will cost a fortune now .

Blatant profiteering on the back of the recent increases in car parking charges

I really wish another bus company would give some real competition to this expense and always late service. Divers are not happy people are not happy. And now the schools aren't going to be happy as parents can't afford to get them to school. One child and adult per week 34.50. So got my self a bike and my child at least we will be on time for a change.

I get the stagecoach bus to travel to school there and back everyday and the money already adds up to a lot and increasing it would make it even more expensive!

Sounds like an awful idea for a cleaner, less congested city. And for parents!

How Can they justify this.....service is poor at best. In other parts of the coutry fares are much more reasonable so they cannot blame the running costs! More likely Greed!

This is just crazy! People already struggle with transport let alone making it more expensive
