To reform the Intercountry Adoption process so waiting children can be matched with waiting families

cHILDREN MAKE A VERY HAPPY AND FUNFILLED HOME. wE ALL NEED CHILDREN IN OUR LIVES TO RECOGNISE THE GOODNESS THAT LIFE CAN BRING. PLEASE RECOGNISE THE GOOD IN PEOPLE WHEN THEY REACH OUT AND LOVE A CHILD SO AS TO HELP THEM AND HELP THE CHILD TO FULLFILL THAT HAPPINESS THAT MAYBE MISSING IN THEIR LIVES. PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN !!!!!!

The AAI is improperly discriminating against post-Hague prospective adoptive parents since they introduced Hague in 2010. A case in point is India's Special Needs programme which is open for adoption applications. However the AAI has refused for over 2 years to send completed adoption application packs to CARA even though many adoptions from India have been completed in recent years for pre-Hague declaration holders. How much longer will the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs stand by and allow the AAI to continue improper practice in relation to inter-country adoption and deny orphaned children loving homes in Ireland?

Without intercountry adoption we would not have our family - and neither would our children.

hopefully things will improve soon

There are too many children stuck in foster care/ care homes with instability not to far from their lives, but there are plenty of willing people wiling to adopt but the process is ridiculously long and tedious with unrealistic age restrictions. It's now time for change
