We need to break the wall of needless bureaucracy that stands between increasingly institutionalised children and families who want to give them loving homes. It is an outrage!

Every Child deserves the right to a family. Adoption is a last hope for many children. Adoption is not a second choice, it's a second chance. With the help of God someone with vision and courage will help create change so these little ones will have the last chance that adoption brings to them, of being part of a family. They have no voice, please make adoption a hope for these children, children who know no different. We can give them abundant love and care and take them out of very sad situations. Let us give these children a choice where there is none.
Children all deserve homes and due to slow and inefficient processes they remain in orphanages much longer than they should have to. Reform is urgently needed

Inter country adoption needs to be reopen now. We are sick and tired of hearing promises and excuses from the people in charge of this process in Ireland. Yes because of Hague adoptions are down worldwide but in Ireland they are stopped. Why should we be deprived of the chance of becoming parents just because we are living in Ireland?

This whole situation makes no sense. Children needing homes, families approved and prepared to give them. Whats the issue? Are the authorities here Anti Adoption. You would have to wonder??

Why can't Irish people adopt from UK with their 15,000 kids in need of a family, Hague ratified, our nearest neighbour.

No child should have to suffer an institutionalised life. Being given up by your first family is enough of a burden.

for the sake of the many great people in Ireland waiting to become parents and for the thousands of children waiting in orphanages for their forever family, please would the Irish government get their act together and get this mess sorted out!!!

The system as it currently stands is failing children in Ireland and all over the world. The Minister can change this. Those in power seem to be anti adoption, therefore shouldn't hold the positions they do. Adoption is a great thing for all the children in the world who genuinely need it, and they are still there despite the spin that is put on the figures. They deserve a family.
