There are homes for these beautiful children here in Ireland. Parents and families to love them and give them security. There is no culture in a baby home,

It is awful that there are so many children languishing in orphanages and that there are 576 prospective adoptive parents in Ireland who would love to provide these children with secure and loving homes but unfortunately it is beyond their control.

The waiting time to adopt in Ireland is painfully long

Every child needs a loving home. They are our future generation.

The current process is totally inefficient and ineffective. Kids need homes and good people want to give them just that.

It is just so disappointing that things have not moved quicker than this to provide ethical adoptions for children in need of forever homes and potential adoptive parents. I am sad over this.

My husband and I received our declaration 6 years ago to adopt from Vietnam which unfortunately closed in2009 we are left in limbo while children are left in institution it just not right we have a loving family that would welcome a child into our family.i watched that program 15,000 kids and counting and was very upset to see the children in England that need homes can't understand why we don't have an agreement with them and give those children the homes and live they need and deserve

11 out of 600 over 3 years is ridiculous, reform needed to address this as it makes no sense to have these children huddled up in cramped conditions when loving families could change their lives
