This latest event: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-07-09/australian-jock-palfreeman-refused-transfer-from-bulgaria-prison/4810096 indicates that the Bulgarian officials are being unduly influenced, as they have backflipped on what seemed like a "done deal", without even notifying our official representative.
We, who have signed this petition, implore that you personally intervene and secure Jock Palfreeman the transfer he is asking for. PLEASE HELP JOCK.

Jock is the real victim! Our system, our country, Bulgaria, is full wreck. I ashamed that live in it and every time when something reminded me about Jock's horrible fate, sting me inside. He is innocent. I strongly believe, that he deserve to be free and hope he'll be!
Being in a Bulgarian prison for a month it's like living the death penalty. Prisoners from the prison where Jock is at, usually have gotten HIV from simply visiting the dentist.
australians and media care more about bali 9 drug smugglers affecting 1000's of lives in australia if the drugs got here, but Jock went to aid of someone,evidenced of cctv footage, and still was convicted guitly
DFAT should be ashamed of their actions in this case- an Australian citizen is subjected to a clearly unjust process, yet they sit idly and allow a young man to be threatened in a hostile prison environment. DFAT needs to get involved and do their job- allow this man to face a fair trial and prove his innocence.
The plight of this Australian young man seems to have been forgotten. It is all too clear that this was a political conviction, I would hope any of my 3 sons would have done the same thing as Jock. Please do not forget him!!!

I really hope Jock is set free , this case is disgusting , so much hidden truth and clearly hanging this guy out to dry . If an MP in Australia reads this comment please help this boys family from this living nightmare, take a leaf out of jocks book and refuse to turn a blind eye, unlike jock you wont be locked up for the cause .
