Stop the IOW council bringing in the ban of dogs in public spaces

Totally unfair , just ban irrisponible people.

What a ridiculous law that would be! Dogs aren't some kind of monster for goodness sake

People make more mess on the beaches than dogs do!

Not allowing dogs in public spaces is ridiculous.. People leave more mess than dogs!!

This proposal would seriously damage their tourist industry; why?

Absolutely ridiculous! Responsible dog owners, who keep their pets under control and clean up after them, abide by the law anyway, banning dogs won't stop the minority from ignoring the ban anyway if they're not cleaning up after them or keeping them under control in the first place.

The island is for everyone to enjoy especially locals in the winter months! We pay our taxes and do the council's job by collecting rubbish etc as it is! Let us enjoy OUR ISLAND.

Why is the IOW council taking away the joy of dog walking in public spaces for local residents and tousrists and their dogs. This will effect tourism and dog owners will chose to go somewhere more dog friendly. In my opinion, this is a very bad decision

Banning dogs in public spaces will affect local businesses. Such businesses as seaside cafes, local shops are the prime spot for dog walkers during the winter and summer. If to place this ban on the island the council will not only waste money on building dog parks, but will show a loss in confidence and trust in the public. The island is built of beautiful scenic walks which are admired and used mostly by dog walkers.

Be better to ban people they-make more mess than dogs

It’s not right to bring these rules in , for lots reasons

Please dont do this I love walking my dog on the beach in the winter and we have never caused a problem to anyone
