You will lose tourists to the Island. And please have common sense. Agree with most beaches in the summer, but don't deter the majority of IOW families from getting out and about year round with their family loved ones.

People make more mess than dogs. I’m forever picking up litter locally and from local beaches. The vast majority of dog owners are responsible tax paying citizens who also are eligible to vote. Councillors should remember that before trying to impose ridiculous, unpopular measures aimed at ruining the enjoyment of dogs and their owners. Also, walking a dog provides exercise and promotes good health, reducing costs to the NHS!

It's the council's job to represent the wishes of the people sort out the floating bridge and stop picking on responsible dog owners.

This island prides itself in being dog friendly and all of our campsites benefit from the tourism related to this. Take dogs off beaches and the ferries, campsites, pubs etc will all suffer!

I thought we had a reputation as a dog friendly island for tourists, but that will end with this proposed change.

What a ridiculous suggestion when a lot of tourists come with 4 legged friends are you trying to cut tourist numbers which will have an effect on the economy of the Island potentially ...stay dog friendly its worked so far it’s not broken so didn’t need fixing !
