Have you forgotten that pets are family.

Islander born and bred. Whilst no longer a resident, we are frequent visitors to friends and family. An awful proposal, very ill thought through. The cost of ferries is enough to put tourists off already, this will kill tourism. We for one would visit less often.

Disgraceful, the council are so disconnected from what isle of wight residents actually want. They should all move to the mainland!!

We need to retain our reputation as a dog friendly Island, by all means enforce heavy fines to those who don’t clean up after their dog!

I am unaware that the general public has pressured the council to ban dogs from all public areas such as beaches and parks. Why is this necessary as I’m sure the majority of people on this island will be opposed to such action.

Haven't the council got nothing better to do than yet again spoil a healthy activity in walking dogs. I am a caulkhead and would put money on that this has come from overers

I only come to the IOW because it is dog friendly as I do go to Cornwall.

It's the council that should be banned from this Island

This is totally uncalled for. Where are we supposed to walk them! Just because of a few irresponsible pet owners they want to ban thousands of responsible owners.

The council made no attempt to enforce the dog ban on beaches before.something stinks hear, leave the dogs and owners alone, they should try to cut down on people that dump their rubbish in parks and beaches, when we’ve got rid of this proposal let’s try and get rid of Dave Stewart and his cronies.

The Isle of wight is becoming a nightmare... allowing signs of 'You are being watched' to parking charges at extortionate rates and massive building projects with no infra-structure and now this!! Maybe they can kill off all the reasons the Isle of Wight was good and turn it into one big housing estate with no green spaces .... after all think of all that lovely Council tax money coming in. I really believe they are out of control and need to be investigated.

It’s well known that the Isle of Wight is very Animal friendly.

Since when has exercising fogs been classed as anti social behaviour, ridiculous and grossly unfair. Just make sure we all pick up after our dogs.
